ION4RAW is an international initiative which brings together 13 partners from 7 countries, from EU: Spain, France, UK, Norway, Germany, Italy, and Belgium; as well as Peru. The consortium is strongly industrially driven as almost 60% of partners are private companies (1 large industry and 7 SMEs). Aside from this, the trans-national dimension of mining and mineral processing companies involved provides an additional feature to the consortium.

Scotgold Resources is an AIM listed junior mining development and exploration company. It is currently targeting gold and silver mineralisation within Central Scotland. The key assets of the Company (through its Scottish subsidiaries) are:
  • An extensive gold, silver and base metal exploration database covering Grampian Gold Project in Scotland;
  • The Cononish gold and silver deposit (100% Scotgold Resources) Measured, Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource (JORC Compliant) categories total 266,000 ounces of gold and 1,096,000 ounces of silver (using 3.5 g/t gold cut-off), the deposit also contains appreciable tellurium – a resource is not known but tellurium concentration is typically subequal to the gold; and
  • Five granted Exploration Options (100% ownership) covering about 4,000 km2 in Central Scotland.
Scotgold Resources’ objective is to establish and operate a successful and profitable mining and exploration company in an environmentally acceptable and sustainable manner.
