International Conference: Sourcing the European energy transition from domestic resources – vision or wishful thinking?
This one-day conference on April 25th examines Europe’s raw materials supply security in the context of its economic potential and current geopolitics. It explores the framework conditions for mining projects and their value chain, and considers the direction to be taken. The conference also highlights the work of European Geological Surveys in mapping critical raw materials and potential cooperation with Africa. On April 26th, a site visit is offered by United Lithium Corp. to the Bergby Lake Lithium exploration project. Sweden, currently holding the EU Council Presidency, is a significant mining country with ample raw material potential for managing the energy and mobility transition and securing the supply for future technologies.
